Payment & Policy

Effective Date: 01-25-2025

At OceanPro Marine Parts, we are committed to providing a secure, transparent, and reliable purchasing experience. This Payment & Purchase Policy explains how quotations, payments, deposits, pricing, order confirmations, and purchase agreements are handled when purchasing products from our website.

Our products include marine engines, marine generators, outboard motors, propulsion systems, gearboxes, engine control systems, marine spare parts, and marine accessories. Due to the value and specialized nature of many of these products, orders may require verification and logistics coordination before shipment.

1. How to Place an Order

Customers may purchase products by:

  • Placing an order directly through our website.
  • Requesting a quotation.
  • Contacting our sales team by email or telephone.

For quotation-based purchases, customers receive a detailed quotation or proforma invoice outlining the selected products, pricing, payment terms, shipping information, and estimated delivery schedule.

2. Order Confirmation

Orders are processed through the following steps:

  • Product selection or quotation request
  • Quotation or proforma invoice issued
  • Customer review and acceptance
  • Initial payment received
  • Payment verification
  • Order confirmation
  • Processing and shipment preparation
  • Final payment (where applicable)
  • Shipment dispatch

An order is considered confirmed only after OceanPro Marine Parts has verified the required payment and issued an official order confirmation.

3. Payment Structure

To provide a secure and transparent purchasing process, OceanPro Marine Parts may offer the following payment structure for eligible orders.

40% Initial Deposit

A 40% upfront deposit secures your order, reserves the selected equipment, and locks in the quoted pricing for the validity period stated on your quotation.

Once the deposit has been received, we begin:

  • Order verification
  • Product allocation (where applicable)
  • Documentation preparation
  • Freight planning
  • Shipment scheduling

Final Payment

The remaining 60% balance must be paid before the order is released for shipment.

Equipment will be professionally packaged and dispatched only after the outstanding balance has been received and verified.

For certain products, promotions, or orders, OceanPro Marine Parts may require full payment in advance. Any alternative payment terms will be clearly stated on the quotation or invoice before payment is requested.

4. Accepted Payment Methods

Depending on the order value and destination, we currently accept:

  • Bank Wire Transfer
  • Business ACH Transfer
  • Major Credit Cards
  • Secure Escrow Services (available for selected high-value transactions where applicable)

Available payment methods may vary depending on the customer’s location and the type of purchase.

5. Payment Security

For your protection, payments should only be made using the official payment instructions provided by OceanPro Marine Parts.

We will never request payment through:

  • Personal bank accounts
  • Personal payment applications
  • Unverified third-party accounts
  • Unofficial messaging platforms

If you receive suspicious payment instructions claiming to represent OceanPro Marine Parts, please contact us immediately before sending any funds.

6. Pricing

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Product prices generally include only the cost of the product.

Additional charges may include:

  • Shipping or freight charges
  • Export packaging
  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • VAT or GST
  • Brokerage or clearance fees
  • Government taxes where applicable

All applicable charges are clearly presented before payment is requested.

There are no hidden charges after an order has been confirmed unless requested changes are made by the customer.

7. Payment Verification

To protect both our customers and our business, payments may be verified before an order proceeds.

Verification may include confirmation of:

  • Payment references
  • Billing information
  • Customer identity
  • Contact information
  • Shipping details

Orders may remain on hold until verification has been successfully completed.

8. Taxes and Import Charges

Domestic orders may be subject to applicable taxes where required by law.

For international shipments, customers are responsible for charges imposed by their country’s authorities, including:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • VAT or GST
  • Customs brokerage fees
  • Government inspection charges

These charges are determined by local authorities and remain the customer’s responsibility.

9. Payment Deadlines

Payment due dates are stated on quotations and invoices.

If payment is not received before the quotation expires, OceanPro Marine Parts reserves the right to:

  • Cancel the quotation
  • Revise pricing if supplier costs change
  • Release reserved inventory
  • Decline the order if the product is no longer available

10. Product Availability

All purchases are subject to product availability.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact the customer promptly to discuss available options, which may include:

  • Waiting for new inventory
  • Selecting an alternative product
  • Receiving a refund for the unavailable item

11. Pricing Errors

Although we strive to maintain accurate pricing, occasional errors may occur.

If an incorrect price is identified before an order has been confirmed, OceanPro Marine Parts reserves the right to correct the error or cancel the affected order.

If payment has already been received, the customer will be notified and any applicable refund will be processed promptly.

12. Fraud Prevention

To protect all parties, OceanPro Marine Parts reserves the right to delay, refuse, or cancel any order where there is reasonable suspicion of:

  • Fraudulent payment activity
  • Unauthorized use of payment methods
  • Identity verification concerns
  • False or misleading customer information
  • Transactions that violate applicable laws or regulations

Customers may be contacted to verify information before an order proceeds.

13. Purchase Agreement

By submitting payment, the customer confirms that they have reviewed and accepted:

  • Product specifications
  • Pricing
  • Shipping arrangements
  • Estimated delivery information
  • Payment & Purchase Policy
  • Shipping Policy
  • Returns & Refund Policy
  • Terms & Conditions
  • Privacy Policy

Once the required payment has been verified and the order enters processing, the purchase constitutes a binding agreement between the customer and OceanPro Marine Parts.

14. Currency Exchange

For international customers, currency conversion rates are determined by the customer’s financial institution or payment provider.

OceanPro Marine Parts is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or additional fees charged by banks or payment providers.

15. Changes to This Policy

OceanPro Marine Parts reserves the right to update this Payment & Purchase Policy at any time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.

The latest version will always be available on this page.
